Time Management Gear
productivity commission
primary productivity
While technology is at its most advanced state nowadays, there remains to be a lot of things to juggle for a typical friends oriented man.

setting life goals
information on time management

The answer is Time Management. Most successful people are often asked about what their secret to success is. And more often than not, they have the same response, and that is Time Management. However, although this is almost an expected response, many are still baffled at how Time Management really works.

Time Management is simply the proper allocation of time for certain tasks. First, the tasks have to be arranged in a certain way where it is clustered into sectors and listed according to urgency and importance. For example, the important parts of your life are friends, your son, your home, your art, and your family. You have to know which one to drop first whenever you need to do something.

After that, you will need help from some Time Management Gear designed to aid you in the correct process of prioritization AND remembering that order.

Quick-and-Easy pop ups

There are a lot of people who need lots of reminder when it comes to taking care of home based businesses. Often, they are too home based that they are disregarded as unimportant. If you are one of them, buy some quick-and-easy pop ups. Whats good about technology is you can probably put a reminder just about everywhere! Cellular phones nowadays have built-in organizing device of your choices, post-its are available in different variants, and even the good old refrigerator door magnets have come in a lot of forms.
time management books
What is important is that the frequency of the reminding is now being increased. This is good for Time Management because it keeps you aware of the things which you have to do especially if they are urgent.

The organizing device of your choice + Watch Tandem

These are staples for just about every busybody from the college beadle to the corporate leader. The organizing device of your choice is something that holds your appointments and its also a tiny little space for some writing. Busybodies usually have contact numbers of random people they meet, gifts for a not-so-relevant birthday party that he has to go to or some sudden brilliant ideas that come to mind. For these and more, you will need an organizing device of your choice. It has to be a little notebook, just enough to fit in a handbag, and should be made of durable material. You must bring your organizing device of your choice with you every day, in case you need to list something down as a reminder.

Moreover, the perfect complement to an organizing device of your choice is a high-quality watch. You may have experienced running late for an appointment just because your watch did not work well. What is worse is that the person you are meeting would not even believe you. This blunder can easily be avoided. Just get a high quality watch. Having a good sense of time is practically the first step in Time Management.

The Perfect mindset

It is pressuring to know that you have a lot of things in your hand and it seems like you ca not even do anything about it. Do not tip over.
Accomplish Goals
Moreover, keep a be on your toes kind of mindset as you maneuver your way into your busy life. Sure, there are times when you distance yourself from your organizing device of your choice. For some, it is a painful reminder of the busy life they lead. It isperfectly alright to feel some form of eternal urgency but take some time off once in a while. You must never neglect yourself in your list of tasks.

Are you an admirer of the famous books of quotations? If not, browsing the famous quotes of both prominent names in history and anonymous gems can be quite thought provoking, as well as entertaining. If you have a website, motivational quotes can provide some succinct meat to your basic message.

Understanding the power of motivational quotes
For example, let’s say you have a blog which focuses on ‘outside the box’ concepts. A motivational quote, properly chosen and included as part of your signature for each post, can remind your readers of your basic premise. Such a simple inclusion can boost your readership, retaining interest in what you have to say, as well as providing an anchor they can hang their mental hat upon, no matter how far afield you may apparently wander. If your blog entries are diverse in subject matter, your readers may wonder why you’re so all over the map. A motivational quote, included with each post, can dispel the puzzled looks and turn your blog into a site your readers understand and read on a regular basis. In other words, they know where you’re coming from.

Let’s say your blog covers topics ranging from politics to kitchen appliances. Your mission is to make people think about all of the inanities of modern society. This can be a difficult concept to convey. Enter the motivational quote.

Everyone has heard of Albert Einstein and what he has to say is not easily refuted. Browsing the motivational quotes, you discover this gem, which perfectly describes your take and position on all of the issues you post: “I have reached an age when, if someone tells me to wear socks, I don’t have to.” Just these fifteen words are worth a thousand of the proverbial pictures. More about Power of Motivational Quotes.

Motivation is the reason or reasons for engaging in a particular behavior, especially human behavior as studied in philosophy, conflict, economics, psychology, and neuropsychology. These reasons may include basic needs such as food or a desired object, hobbies, goal, state of being, or ideal. The motivation for a behavior may also be attributed to less-apparent reasons such as altruism or morality. According to Geen,[1] motivation refers to the initiation, direction, intensity and persistence of human behavior. Motivational Speaker

Intrinsic and extrinsic motivation
Intrinsic motivation is when people engage in an activity, such as a hobby, without obvious external incentives.

Intrinsic motivation has been studied by educational psychologists since the 1970s, and numerous studies have found it to be associated with high educational achievement and enjoyment by students. There is currently no universal theory to explain the origin or elements of intrinsic motivation, and most explanations combine elements of Fritz Heider’s attribution theory, Bandura’s work on self-efficacy and other studies relating to locus of control and goal orientation. Though it is thought that students are more likely to be intrinsically motivated if they:

Attribute their educational results to internal factors that they can control (e.g. the amount of effort they put in),
Believe they can be effective agents in reaching desired goals (i.e. the results are not determined by luck),
Are interested in mastering a topic, rather than just rote-learning to achieve good grades.
Note that the idea of reward for achievement is absent from this model of intrinsic motivation, since rewards are an extrinsic factor.

In knowledge-sharing communities and organizations, people often cite altruistic reasons for their participation, including contributing to a common good, a moral obligation to the group, mentorship or ‘giving back’. In work environments, money may provide a more powerful extrinsic factor than the intrinsic motivation provided by an enjoyable workplace.Motivational Speaker

The most obvious form of motivation is coercion, where the avoidance of pain or other negative consequences has an immediate effect. Extreme use of coercion is considered slavery. While coercion is considered morally reprehensible in many philosophies, it is widely practiced on prisoners, students in mandatory schooling, within the nuclear family unit (on children), and in the form of conscription. Critics of modern capitalism charge that without social safety networks, wage slavery is inevitable[citation needed]. However, many capitalists such as Ayn Rand have been very vocal against coercion[citation needed]. Successful coercion sometimes can take priority over other types of motivation. Self-coercion is rarely substantially negative (typically only negative in the sense that it avoids a positive, such as forgoing an expensive dinner or a period of relaxation), however it is interesting in that it illustrates how lower levels of motivation may be sometimes tweaked to satisfy higher ones. Motivational Speaker

Another month’s gone and life continues to grow towards what you want to achieve or the other way round.

Did you set a goal early this year? Well, did you get what you want by now after so many months of working hard for it? Apparently, most people don’t and that’s the problem with setting goals.

We cannot be setting goals with the intention of trying to get what we want because that will become a chasing game which will wear you out. Maybe not for you, but I know I will when I’m chasing ’something’. The goal must be a part of us — to become who you want and where you want to be mentally and physically.

Your goals must be something that you achieve internally so that you can see it, taste it, smell it and feel it.

Wealth. Love. Connection. Knowledge. Experience.

If you were to think what success is, it drills down to being happy.

I’m not trying to be a personal self development guru here but to stress the statement how we make our lives complicated without understanding the true purpose of our action. Life doesn’t have to be that way.

There are a few things I’ve learned from my life and I’m glad to share them with you today…

i. Your mind attracts what you want. This year, I have my fair share of enjoying successes and experiencing setbacks in life. And when I sit back to think about it, they come in ’sequences’. Once I’ve gained success, I’ll have the momentum to get another one. When I failed and stay in that state, another failure will come again. I don’t know, some called it Law of Attraction. To me, I strongly believe that you get what you want based on what your mind thinks because it ‘attracts’.

ii. There’s one time Grandma falls sick and stayed in the hospital for a week. When I visited her in the hospital, I felt blessed that she’s still in this beautiful world. Although it’s nothing critical, but my heart tells me one thing- nothing in this world will give me the same love and relationship I have with her.

There are only 2 factors that will remove your love with someone you care about- when he/she is no longer here or you have ignored the love you have today for something that is less valuable but perceived to be valuable. Let me warn you– once you lose them, you lose them. You should know who to call, hug or kiss by now.

iii. Know your roots. If you’re successful today, you’re probably once a ‘nobody’. Always be humble because it will give you more success in times to come. Knowing your roots also means remembering those who have supported you when you’re growing and stayed by your side through thin and thickness. You can master all kinds of personal improvement course out there, but I think it’s useless if you’re an arrogant person and not being respected.

iv. Explore life like there’s no ending. Listen to new music. Visit new places. Play new sports. Meet new people. And an endless list of things you can do regardless of whether you’re wealthy or not. Always remember this– money doesn’t stop you from exploring life because there are easily hundreds of things you can do with what you have today.

v. Life is great. You have a wonderful life whether you want to admit it or not. There are people sleeping on the streets today, begging for food and so on. Because you’re reading this, you’re under a roof and are an educated person. You have eyes to read and a wonderful brain to think. For that, life is already wonderful. The rest that you got, are bonuses. Some might complain about being financially broke. You can be broke but you can never be poor because being broke is a temporarily state that can be changed.

Do you have your own principles to be successful life? List it here.

Patric Chan

P.S: You can get hundreds of free personal self development articles, tips and videos at www.successandlife.com. If you have your own self improvement article, share them there to get free publicity and exposure!

You can live better! The guide to successful living includes Spiritual Healing Prayer, A Way To Express Gratitude and Approach To Personal Development.

Successful living is about life - not things. Yes, money is important to help you enjoy freedom from worry and unneeded poverty. Things like cars and houses, experiences like travel, art and music are useful to enhance our creativity.

Spirituality healing really can add more powerful, dynamic energy to your daily living. Many doctors and scientists are realizing that a wholesome, healthy body is impacted by the spiritual health of humans.

The noted cellular biologist and teaching physician, Dr. Bruce Lipton wrote The Biology of Belief, based on his experiments with human cells. Dr. Lipton discovered that living cells grow toward positive energy sources, and shrank or died when negative energy was nearby.

Spiritual healing happened regularly in the the New Testament accounts of Jesus the Christ. Jesus even continued this ministry of Christian spiritual healing by sending his followers to heal the sick. Today, modern prayer techniques like the Healing Codes release the stress from destructive cellular memories.

Words of gratitude is a very powerful way to shrug off the slings and arrows that life can throw at you. Gratitude can help irritating people, conditions or circumstances take a better turn. You can choose to cultivate and grow your sense of thankfulness. Think of a pearl. A grain of sand invades an oyster and starts irritating its sensitive lining. Now that oyster doesn’t have a vacuum cleaner to “clean house” and remove the grain of sand. No, the oyster invests part of itself, layer upon layer of mother of pearl from its own sensitive lining to wraps up the irritating grain of sand.

An amazing thing happens. Over time, with constant progress, that irritating piece of sand becomes a magnificent pearl. Appreciation can create a pearl out of the irritating things that happen in your life. Keep a gratitude journal and write down what you are thankful for every day. Your life will take on a whole new meaning and freshness.

Without a Personal development plan, your chance to make real, positive change and lasting success become like zero. You can increase your odds by using tried and proven personal development tips to get you started in the right direction.

Think about this. Have you ever used an online map or a GPS system to get directions? With the use of Google Maps, Yahoo Maps, Mapquest and even GPS devices in your car, you can get a step-by-step approach to reach your destination.

Personal development plans are very much the same, a tool that people use to help them improve themselves as they go from one state or condition in life to a better one. You can use a plan to to get a promotion, build a new business, attract new friends, lose weight, to break a bad habit, quit smoking or for anything else that you may want to change.

So, here are three ways that you can increase the quality and wonder of your life. You can live better each day, every day.

If you want to increase your personal effectiveness, you need to acquire personal development plan to help make positive changes. Think of a carpenter working with expensive wood to create a fine china cabinet. He will choose the best possible saw blade, fasteners, and building materials to bring the best out of the wood to make a masterpiece.

Your life is a masterpiece, so choosing the best personal development courses that offer the most effective personal development training is very important. There are numerous sources to look at when it comes to self improvement; seekers of information are often shocked by the number of books, articles, seminars, courses and personal development guides that are available.

If you have listened the great masters of personal development, you can’t overlook Earl Nightingale. Earl was one of the most popular radio broadcasters, thinkers and motivational speakers of his time. He was born in 1921 in Los Angeles, California. As a young man in his 20’s, he served on the US Arizona battleship when it was attacked at Pearl Harbor.

After the war Earl began work in the radio industry, which eventually led to work as a motivational speaker. In 1956 Earl produced a spoken-word record, The Strangest Secret, to cover for his absence on a fishing trip during a radio show. Calls poured in looking for a copy of the recording. Remember, this was well before the days of iPods, mp3 files and CDs.

That recording went on to sell over a million copies, making it the first spoken-word recording to achieve Gold Record status. That record and its message launched the personal development industry. “We become what we think about” and “As you show, so shall you reap” are the core message of the strangest secret.

“Our Changing World” was Earl’s radio show that was heard over daily for more than 40 years and earned him a place in the Radio Hall of Fame.

During his lifetime, Earl Nightingale wrote and recorded over 7,000 radio programs, 250 audio programs as well as television programs and videos. His messages are just as valuable in the third millenium today as they were in the 1950s.

Remember, to excel at goal setting and goal achieving, you need to learn from the masters, those who have achieved. Investing in their audio programs is a great way to get started. Add personal development plan like The Strangest Secret to your library and listen to success.

These days many people are now required to perform a variety of tasks at the same time Although there are many people who slip into the multi-tasking scheme effortlessly, there are also many who are overwhelmed with the amount of work that they have to finish within a short period of time. Should you be one of the many that encounter problems of time management, then it would be appropriate for you to start learning the ways and methods by which you can manage your time effectively. The art of time management can quite easily be learned and mastered so it should not be something that you should worry to much about for the mean time. As soon as you are able to begin developing your time management skills, you will have less problems going through the variety of tasks you need to do, and will be able to accomplish multi-tasking quite effortlessly

How To Get Started

One of the first items on your list that you should do to learn time management is to set your priorities and manage your goals Before you tackle the task for the day, you need to make a do-to list and rank these things according to your priorities. The to-do list is a very important step, as this list will be your guide when you start the tasks that you need to do, and this list will also keep track of your progress as you tick of each item that has been completed. Furthermore, your to do list will help you see what needs to be done for the day and help you set your priorities.

Prioritizing

Setting your priorities for the day is very important. You need to know which things must be done first and which ones can be left towards the end of the day. To set your priorities, you need to develop criteria. The time element and relevance of a certain task towards the other set of tasks should be included in your criteria for setting priorities. For instance, if you are working on more than one project at the same time, you need to determine which ones are urgent and which ones are not. Also if you happen to be doing a series of tasks, you need to determine which tasks need to be finished first that is most urgent before proceeding to the next set of tasks.

Scheduling

The ability to be able to schedule your tasks is very important when it comes to time management. You need to learn to divide your day so that you can accomplish more. Every minute counts when it comes to ttime management, and in order to be able to accomplish more, you should give yourself hourly deadlines. For example, you assign yourself one hour to work on a specific task and when the hour is over, move on to the next task on the list.

Piano lamps are a great addition to the top of any piano. The first design use candles to illuminate the surface. The candles provided a beautiful appearance to the largest performance halls down to the beginning childhood piano lessons. The bright light would often give off a blinding glare. The unstable light increased eyestrain. Electricity led to the creation of the light bulb, which helped lead to the invention of the modern day piano lamp. The piano light became very popular as it could display light from several different angles increasing the overall enjoyment for the player. A piano lamp will complete the appearance of any room décor, dramatically increasing the look and feel of the most limited music rooms or the largest concert halls.

wants and needs of the consumer of the piano light. Choosing the right finish will also help give the right accent to any piano. When choosing a piano lamp a consumer must decide which piano light works best for them|There are several different choices for each consumer. It comes down what will look and function that are the best[/spin]. There are a lot of different types to choose from. Here are a couple of my favorites.

The Desk Piano Lamp works well in many situations. The desk piano lamp is adjustable at both the base and the top of the stem giving the user several different lighting configurations to choose from. With the large 14” shade it will give the user ample glare free light on any surface. There are several different finishes that will add beauty to the room.

LED Piano Lamps have become more popular because of its design. LED stands for light-emitting diode. It has become very popular because of its slim design and energy efficiency. The LED light bulb being smaller it will give the opportunity for a lot of sleeker designs. Another added feature is that a LED piano light is more cost effective to run and will last much longer than a traditional light bulb.

Another popular design is the Counter Balance Piano Lamp. It is very popular because of it high quality, luxurious design. I really like this one as it gives you all of the advantage of a desk lamp but adding a beautiful flare to any décor. With its larger design it will gives the user multiple lighting possibilities.

One of the coolest designs that I have seen is the Polished Brass Treble Piano Lamp. The lamp has a high quality polished brass finish. This lamp will stand out in any room. The piano lamp has an engaging, musical appearance with a Treble Clef on the stem of the unit. With a height of 15 ½” this lamp will easily light up any musical score. This unique piano light would be a great gift for anybody with its attractive design. This piano light is definitely one of the coolest lights that I ever seen.

If you have ever set goals before, but failed to achieve them, it may have been because you did not create a specific plan of action to accomplish those goals.

Taking the time to set goals is only part of the process of goal setting, and many people often overlook the other part, creating a plan!

Without a plan your goals remain incomplete. It’s like having a destination but without a map. Your goals tell you where you want to go in life, and your plan tells you how to get there.

A goal plan is simply a list of scheduled activities that you will do sometime in the future. These may include activities done over a series of days, weeks, months or even years depending on the type of goal you set for yourself.

Your plan does not have to be completed perfectly the first time. Usually you will find that your first attempt at creating a goal plan will be vague and incomplete. Don’t worry this is ok. Plans should be flexible and so are likely to be constantly updated as you move towards completing your primary goal.

In your plan you should therefore create a series of steps, you think you need in order to accomplish that goal. So think of it like baking a cake. Your ultimate goal is to make a cake (and eat it!), but the ingredients and the things you do with those ingredients are your plan. Once you complete the plan, you complete your goal.

Creating a goal plan is frequently overlooked, and many people discipline themselves to write their goals every day but create no plan! So make sure you take the time to decide where you want to go (your goals) and then create a plan that will tell you how to get there!

In addition to your goal plan it is also a good idea to use visualization to help clarify in your mind exactly what you want to achieve. This can simply involve thinking about your goals, and imaging them as completed when you go to bed. You can do this for about 10 minutes (or longer if you want) before you fall to sleep, and you will be surprised at what a difference it makes in achieving your goals. One of the main reasons visualization before sleep is so effective, is that it provides easy access to the subconscious mind. Thereby allowing you to program your goals into your mind, increasing the likelihood you will accomplish them.

Perhaps you are like me and you are tired of hearing everyone give you advice about time. They just go on and on. Like, hope you can find some time. On the other hand, do not forget to make yourself some time. How about, do not lose any time. Alternatively, do not waste time. In addition, my all time favorite is, be sure to use time wisely. If I hear just one more I am sure, I will lose it!

Now, they may all be sound advice but what I really want to hear just once is, how about some playtime. That kind of time I do deserve.

You and I can actually accomplish a lot more if we just learn to devote time for ourselves. Doing this, though, is not always so easy.

We should all work very hard and when we do, we are bound to struggle through the pressures of life. It just makes sense. You are likely among those who are often found trying to get ahead and meet the demands of your job or family, right? Yet, if we do not stop and give ourselves the attention we need, we will all end up suffering to one degree or another.

Keep in mind that there is no one right way to manage this. Everyone has variable circumstances. We all have some unique problems in doing or achieving this aim. Perhaps the first thing to realize is that you are not managing time to do this. You are managing yourself.

A well-managed individual is well organized.

In order to manage yourself, establish your priorities. I am not talking about those “most important” things to do. It is prioritizing those things that are most important to you at a personal level. In focusing less on the tangible and more on the fulfillment of things you value, you will then achieve a sense of balance. You just need to determine what those activities are.

Take a look at what your leisure desires are. Travel? Reading? Bowling? Dancing? Dining out more? Visiting with family and friends? Deciding what you want to do is the first step to finding the time to do it.

Your priorities can therefore encompass: Friends and family relations, personal enrichment, health and wellness, pursuing personal passions, and working toward long-range goals. Life is more fulfilling when you are doing those things because they bring you joy. You do not need to sacrifice career, family, and well being to achieve balance in your life. You do not even need to change jobs either. Just change yourself. That should be priority number one.

You can create your own brand in lifestyle. It is not something created for you, I know you might think that others control your life, and that you are not in control, but that just is not true. You have many different choices.

Part of the choices that you will make has to do with doing those things that align with your purpose or spirit. You can opt to take any task and turn it into a purposeful one, giving it importance and meaning. If you do it any other way, it is just a chore. The way you view your activities has a great deal of impact on how you approach them.
