I really agree with what your trying to get at here. Life IS wonderful and we are very lucky. I have my own principles to life which include:

-Constantly improving upon myself
-Always learning and doing something new
-Staying healthy
-Going on as many adventures and exploring as much as I can
-Spending most of my time enjoying life
-Being different from the rest, meaning trying to live one step above every one else

I live by most of these principles and it's what keeps me going up.

Check out the site. It's mainly about my experiences and my journey to living an amazing life and sharing that with everyone.

Earl Nightingale's wisdom is timeless... he certainly was the father of personal development. His thoughts and beliefs are echoed throughout time.... and we can all benefit from them if we choose to.

Is task fulfillment all there is to life? Perhaps we wouldn't have so much trouble with time management and goal setting if our tasks and goals had more meaning.

I've found the coolest and most effective tool to help with the visualization process - a great vision board software called Mind Movies Creator.

It was created by Ryan Higgins to help others visualize and manifest the life of their dreams. See a video and find out why here http://www.squidoo.com/vision-board-software

A Mind Movie allows you to create a vision of what you want, together with your Favorite song… the one that makes you feel good, the one that makes you want to dance, the one that makes you smile and sing along.
It’s like a 3 minute slide show/movie of your perfect life.

I’m trying it out now.

I’m having fun making my own vision board/mind movie.

And because it’s a software, no need to cut up magazines!

Thanks.

I'm also always interested in improving my time management... I find that prioritizing my daily things to do list has proven highly effecient in improving mine.

Another post shared a new method for prioritizing that was new to me, I went to the posted link and was impressed enough that I eagerly signed up to beta test the new product. You might want to check it out with your experience and knowledge.

Slightly challenging, but achievable goals move you toward the big ones. Never give up and sooner or later you'll be there.

[...] A life example: A disgruntled parent taught his son that, because of his station in life, he would not amount to much and would never have very much in life. He taught him not to try to live above the way that he was raised. The father was judging his son’s future by his dreary reality. He actually programmed his son to expect failure. For many years, this was the reality that pervaded the son’s life. He feared being successful. He doubted his ability to be successful, and to compensate for this, he never tried. He knew that he would fail anyway. He justified his not succeeding. Time Management For Managers Through Time Management System [...]
